Following the postponement of the AGM on the previously advised date, due to snow and icy conditions on that day, the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Dunedin Amenities Society is now scheduled for Tuesday 1 September 2026 at the Balmacewen Bowling Club rooms at 31 Balmacewen Rd, Maori Hill. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 6pm. Pre-dinner refreshments (non alcoholic) and light finger food will be served from 5:30pm onwards and also following the end of the meeting.
A feature of the evening will be a presentation given by Dr Eva Forster-Garbutt, manager of Heritage New Zealand.
Society members, as well as members of the public who have an interest in preserving and enhancing Dunedin’s natural and heritage environment and attributes, are encouraged to attend.
The Balmacewen Bowling Club rooms are accessed through the iron gates and down a driveway as shown on the following map.
