The Dunedin Amenities Society

Established in 1888, the Society is New Zealand's oldest conservation organisation.

Reregistration of the society as an incorporated body – Special General Meeting to be held on 3 March 2026 to discuss this.

Due to changes in the Act to the Registration of Incorporated Bodies, the Dunedin Amenities Society is required to amend its present Constitution to meet the new requirements of the Act.

A draft version of the amended Constitution has recently been emailed to all members of the Society for comment.

Members are invited to attend a special general meeting of the Society at 6.0pm on 3 March 2026 in the McNab room at the Dunedin Public Library, to discuss these changes and to ratify the new constitution
