A Rocha Volunteers at Craigieburn
On Sunday 20th February volunteers from the Christian environmental organisation A Rocha ( Portugese for The Rock) visited the reserve and released plants put in as part of the 2010 open day planting. A Rocha is an international christian organisation who work with agencies and communities on conservation, sustainabilityand environmental education projects. The group have just started in Dunedin and they were keen to see what the Amenities Society have been doing at Craigieburn. We hope they will be regular visitors to the reserve and that they become involved with other projects around the city.
